Choppin Instant Classics: Til Death Do Us Part...

ring fingers

I believe the saying goes, "Til death do us part...or until a business trip". Recently Choppin legends Wham Dickham and K.C. the Sunshine man along with recently acquired Fun Free Agent, Jasper the Clasper (for those that don't know:  A clasper is formed from the posterior portion of a cartilaginous fish's pelvic fins and it serves as an intromittent organ used to channel sperm into a female's cloaca if you know what I mean), conducted a sociological experiment involving bands, booze and Bavarian villages.

Let me explain (and pay close attention, I don't want to have to do this twice), these three good-looking fellas decided to go to Kohl's and for 10 dollars purchase fake wedding bands. They then suited up and made the trek north to the local germanic grove of good times: Frankenmuth, Michigan. They pulled into town and following the local custom yelled, "Achtung, fertig, los!" or for the non-natives, "Ready, set, go!" but don't think that this whole trip was on the spot improvisation.

On the way north the three developed a plan, that is a business plan. They were the founders and Ceo's of Warm Sunrise a large scale international business that specialized in buying Quilts from local dealers and distributing them nationally on a larger scale.   You may think this fabrication would not fly, but then again you should never underestimate the naivete of small town America.

Their first stop was for some fine dining at Zehnder's restaurant where their waitress the reigning Miss Saginaw County bought their story like a half off Christmas ornament from Bronners. She was lucky because these charitable Ceo's were in the giving mood and willingly donated some quilts to be raffled off at her fundraiser for her run at Miss Michigan. They won her over with this joke, "Why does telling jokes to quilter's make them cry? because it always puts a stitch in their side!" and topped it off with this one, "what did the lovestruck quiltmakers say when they started tickling each other? you quilt it, no you quilt it..."

They then headed to the local watering hole where they won the locals over with their gregarious nature and their German appetite for spirits.  The wedding rings allowed both men and women to feel safe around these booming businessmen of the bible belt. It is safe to say though that these three "married men" created a bit of a stimulus plan for some of the ladies in the community if you know what I mean.

Anyway the lesson learned here is simple, the rings are in play! (wink, wink, nod, nod).

The rings certainly are in play. I must agree. But to be sure, we might have to have a few more experiments to make sure.
